Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Jaella Ashleigh Lahat and I'm based in the DC metropolitan area, particularly Fairfax County. I am currently a rising senior at Virginia Commonwealth University's Honors College, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems with minors in Biology and Chemistry. I am also a student in the Accelerated Master's in Information Systems program. My academic journey, combined with a diverse leadership and technical background, fuels my passion for leveraging technology to drive business efficiency and innovation. Eco Apparel

Above is a slideshow introducing a project I am currently spearheading the development of, entitled Eco Apparel. The Eco Apparel web application aims to promote sustainability in the fashion industry. This project involves utilizing data analysis techniques and a range of technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and APIs. My role includes driving the iterative development of essential features such as a brand sustainability assessment, a brand alternative Hall of Fame, user accounts, quizzes, and donation pages. I source and analyze data from Fashion Revolution to inform content and feature development, personalize user experiences, and promote sustainability. Additionally, I collaborate closely with a team of developers and designers to ensure the successful implementation of technical functionalities and a user-friendly interface.
